What happened?!
Firstly, let's celebrate that it possible to create a film and also work with a bunch of people to make that concept a reality. Secondly, wow. Thirdly, well here it goes... I left a seemingly intriguing workplace to pursue film and actually go to film school. Best idea and choice, not only did I learn how to make a movie but I learned what it is that I want to say and how to express a vision.
Pitching
This is interesting because the idea in your own mind if wonderful, beautiful and fantastic until maybe you have to stand In front of a classroom or industry panel judging if your overall game plan and script is worth the light of day. Perhaps I am being extra but that is how it feels like. I will say, pitching pushed me in ways I could never imagine. It forces you to believe in your voice and vision and also advocate for the film to be made. My short film entitled "Dance With Me" for approved and greenlit for a thesis production. What does this mean? You are making a movie! Buckle up bud it's going to be a ride.
