About Me

Hey, I’m Grace Gahore — a filmmaker, videographer, and writer-director based between the GTA and Kitchener-Waterloo. My journey into film started with a camera, a lot of curiosity, and probably too many late-night editing sessions, but somewhere between all that, I fell in love with storytelling.

I’ve worked across branded content, television, documentaries, and narrative films, telling other people’s stories for years before I decided it was time to tell my own. That leap into directing paid off: my short films have been nominated for Best Short in North America, Best Student Short, and Best Sound & Picture at the 48 Hour Challenge, as well as official selections at the Toronto Indie Film Festival and Global Lift-Off Film Festival.

I graduated with honours from Toronto Film School’s Film Production program, and was proud to receive an Academic Achievement Award (proof that I worked hard even when caffeine was my main food group).

Whether I’m behind the camera, coordinating chaos on set, or staying up too late obsessing over sound design, I’m always chasing stories that are honest, cinematic, and full of heart. I love collaborating with passionate creatives and bringing bold ideas to life, especially the kind that make people feel something long after the credits roll.

I hope to connect on your next project, whether it's photography, video creation or crew-related - I'm your girl, let's chat today!
Looking forward to meeting you!
